Getting much less engagement on my account

Hi,

Ok guys, a few weeks ago I think that my account got sort of restricted because when I follow people, they can't follow back so I can follow 600 people and get only 10 follow back. That's one thing but my engagement (likes and comments) is decreasing more and more, 1 week ago it was approximately 2/3 of what it used to be and now it's as low as 1/2 of what it used to be! (I'm still posting same quality pics if you're wondering)

The problem is that I've no idea on how to sort it out, I've not used FL for a few weeks to let my account "rest" from any suspect action but I'm still "banned" from follow back and engagement is poor.

Any idea on this? Did it happen to you? Do you think that changing my account name could help on this?

I have noticed this too on my one account. My amount of follows has dropped severely and I am barely getting the amount of likes I was getting 5k followers ago

And did you manage to get it back to normal?

Hi!
Sort of same thing happen to me.

In my case I did only likes (never follow/unfollow) I did 2000 likes all days during 6 months, my engagement was growing in average until First February.

I shaw a drop on likes I received in average from 970 to 900 and now 750. I did stop FL bot for one week and still.

I believe (my guess only) that Instagram is using sort new algorythim that assigns sort of "Quality Score", the user that heavily do follow/unfollow get this block back following, accs doing lots of likes will not come up on Populars/Recommend page so they will only have likes from followers or likes back...

My acc is 44K followers and I'm seeing other accs with 15K users doing 1500 likes/pic

I'm investigating but yes I think we are going to have hard time from now on... and the most important... will we get back to "normal" situation even if we stop the bot???

I'm starting to believe that as well. Especially about the quality score. One of my accounts is being affected by this.. Let's see if it starts to rollover to my other accounts..

Still too early to come up with a conclusion but I wouldn't be surprised if it's happening to one of my accounts.

the same thing happens to me if I do massive follow unfollow I see great result but soon after my likes decrease and I always wondered why and Im pretty sure it has something to do with the popular page..
