Getting More Exposure To My Blog

I have recently started a movie website start from scratch targetting users from a specific country. The competitors in that niche for that country are there but there websites are not as elegant as they should be. Their social coverage is huge although with 500k+ followers.

Since mine is a new startup, whereabouts should I be looking for exposure. I do understand, this cannot be done overnight but it has to be done anytime.

What should I be doing after I post an article to my website? What should be my next step? My social presence is almost as zero.

You can take the help of social media in promoting.
Add social sharing buttons below every post so that when users like it, they will share.
Second method you can get exposure from, is buying Banner space from other sites.
I have my own website and it has 62k alexa rank. I am thinking to sell banner space on my site, i am looking for advertisers

Its a long way before I think of advertising. Its just a start.
