Go to Google and search
Linkedin lion groups
Join the groups, I thinks there are 4-6 of them they top ones with most members.
Follow them they will follow back.

this is the best way, free as well. you may need to spend sometime but you can connect with most active accounts by checking profiles from the groups.

It's much safer to do it yourself. Just send requests to everyone. All Linkedin users are interested in the number of connections, so you can get 500+ quickly
