Getting Leads But Most Are Not Good

The quality of leads should first be analyzed via keywords or search terms, and then against location, device, and landing page intent. If the clicks are relevant, yet the leads are poor, then there is an issue with the form/offering.

You can try checking your keywords and targeting first and also check the search terms to see where the low quality leads are coming from and then you can adjust the targeting and focus more on the traffic that brings the real customers.

I would recommend you to check your targeting or keywords and the landing page first because the low-quality leads usually come from reaching the wrong audience.

This is my first post here, so I hope someone can help me with this issue.

I’m getting around 10–15 leads a day from one PPC campaign, so the numbers look okay at first.
The problem is that many of the leads are low quality and don’t turn into real customers.
What would you check in this case? Targeting, keywords, landing page, or something else?
How are you collecting the data?

Are you using a lead form extension, or are you having users fill out a form on your website? The quality of leads coming from form extensions can generally be poor. On this side, I recommend uploading all the good data you have into Customer Match and trying to optimize based on this audience. You can even use a similar audience based on this data. If you are collecting forms through your website, I definitely recommend adding a reCAPTCHA below the form. Bots may be filling them out automatically. Also, in addition to a few standard fields, try adding a few more questions and include a mandatory text field.

Best regards.
