Interesting as I feel I have come full circle. It was flipping that got me into trying to make a few quid online but I found this place and got really sidetracked.

I think it was bad timing as it was becoming harder to make money selling sites around the time I was hoping to start.

I have a few questions are people still making money of basic sites, WP installs, pay for articles, chuck in some SEO?

I also would be interested to know what people are doing with these sites are they buying for investment or buying and flipping again?

I always hated the idea of making other people money which also kind of put me off flipping slighly as I have a good understanding of how much cash there is in domains long term.

Any tips to start building some reference material on flipping would be really appreciated as I have some ideas that could help my brother (he could design headers etc.)

It would be great to get a few pointers to get started. I like the idea of selling a high volume of simple sites such as 5 per day with approx. 20 articles and use some of the BHW services to promote them and cycle through maybe a month e.g. set up as many as I can then aim to sell 20 - 100 by the end of the month and make ideally $50 - £100 per site?

    What do people think?

    :)

Could work - but would be a massive headache with the volume of auctions and buyers to deal with. You'd be better off buying a site, spending some money on it and reselling it at Flippa in one transaction rather than 100s of smaller ones...

Well idea seems to be good but will take lot of head aches while dealing with buyers.
@meathead1234 its nice idea to sell them in one bunch but in that case it won't be much cheap as compared to selling in small lots?

Sorry, maybe you misunderstood. I meant have ONE site and make it big, rather than selling a portfolio of smaller sites in one lot, in which case, you are correct, you would make less than selling individually.
