It's weird seeing this behavior with my posts being indexed some days and other days the new posts don't.

I'm not sure if it has to do with posting every day, because when I first start a blog, I post every day for a few days then take a break. Guessing I shouldn't do this? Because when I do and start to post 3-5 days later, the new posts do not get indexed anymore.

I've been trying to ignore the fact they aren't getting indexed and continue posting every day however they still are not getting indexed.

I don't have any backlinks to any of them. I just share my posts on social media.

Any site made after the May 5th update are acting real weird. Sandbox on steroids.

Might include posts posted on older sites, after the update. Not sure.

Yes, indexation now takes ages, I surrendered.

Is your site new, if yes then you should wait for a bit and create some backlinks to speed up the process

Do you think purchasing expired domains and using them instead of new sites would work better or have better indexing rates?

I do not know what you are doing but Google has not yet returned to its maximum indexing level, there seem to be still intermittent bugs.
