Hello,

First of all, I don't know if this is the correct forum category to post this, but here it goes. Basically I am planning to create a website that will provide mods, maps, etc for a specific game. These mods and maps are obviously created by other players in the community, but I was wondering if I could get in a lot of trouble by making lists of these on my website ("Top 10 *game* mods", for example) and monetizing them on my website with a PPD network that will make the visitors complete a survey to download the file.

I know this isn't a good idea to make money since I am using others creations, but can I get in a serious problem if I monetize those downloads? Also if it's not possible to legally monetize those downloads, would I still be able to make these type of posts on my websites and link to the original download source while I monetize with Adsense?

Thank you for taking your time to read.

You might get copyright strikes from the owners, other than that you are good to go.
