Hi everyone,

I have a new technology blog with 100+ posts already live. I’m getting decent impressions in Search Console, but the clicks are very low.

I’m trying to understand what I might be doing wrong. Is this usually a CTR issue, weak titles/meta descriptions, search intent mismatch, or something else?

What practical steps would you recommend to improve clicks without changing the entire content strategy?

Would really appreciate some solid suggestions from experienced members.

It’s likely a CTR issue caused by titles and meta descriptions that aren’t compelling enough or don’t fully match search intent, so you should refine your titles to be more specific, highlight clear benefits, and review queries in Search Console to better align with user demand.

Thanks for explain, I'll try to do this update.

You’re getting impressions but not clicks because your titles and meta descriptions likely don’t match search intent strongly enough or stand out in the SERP. Check in Search Console which queries have high impressions and low CTR, then rewrite those pages’ titles and descriptions to clearly state the main benefit, include the exact query, and add elements like numbers or “step‑by‑step / full guide” to make them more clickable than competing results.

Most of the time it’s weak SERP appeal, not content
Rewrite titles/meta to be more specific, benefit-driven, and aligned with exact search intent.

Also check if your rankings are low on page 1 or page 2—impressions there rarely convert to clicks.

This is most likely (99%) caused by the article title and description sections. A title and description that are not closely aligned with the searched keyword usually create this issue. Adjusting them should solve your problem in the short term.

You are already getting impressions but not clicks, its clear sign of weak meta data , moreover you are ranking between position 6 to 25 where your post gets impressions but not clicks. check for ranking keywords positions and push them to top page along with title fixes for better CTR
