I've recently started updating one of my old sites that i created much earlier in the game,

I've added a lot of new fresh content and more keyword density on some old pages.

What's the best way to get google to re spider these old pages?

I thought about just changing the Permalink structure so google would think they where new pages.

But I've done some heavy deep linking to this site and can't really afford to do that.

any tips guys and gals?

Two possible ways to get them updated:

1. Manage link juice inside your site (site structure, internal linking, etc.)
2. Build more deeplinks. This should improve SERP too, which is the most important thing.

Seems like you are on the right track. Updated contact and some new authority links (pinged) should get you there

You can create sitemaps and submit them to google webmaster tools simply put in when google should revisit the page into your sitemaps and your done. In webmaster tools you can also change how often google visits your website but don't play too much with that because if you bring it to extremes your site will get "sandboxed"

Thank you for your input :)

I ended up re submitting my site map, and yeah I'm contantly deeplinking so I'll have that base covered as well :fing26:
