Getting .edu and .gov backlinks?

Hi there I read somewhere on getting edu and gov backlinks using these sort of sites forms.

Basically if the site isn't using proper validation then you can input html code into the form fields and force your link onto the site.

Has anyone else heard of this and is it any good?

also if anyone is using this, what is the code being used?

In edu and gov forums you can place your links in signatures or profile section in about me

You have to use BB codes .

Mostly try using <a href=""></a> format or [ url="htt" ] keyword [/url]types to link the content. try to use the WYSWYG editor most of the time to get proper alignment

Thanks for the replies, I have never heard of bb codes before haha,

and I guess I just put these html tags in any of the form fields?

Also I do not own scrapebox as I cannot afford it yet (to many bills to pay). Also with scrapebox I don't understand the network card settings part, I can make websites from scratch but when it comes to networking I kinda mess up haha.

I wonder if there is a way to bypass validation with a php or javascript script?

also is there any free backlinking software that works on here, I have been looking in the member downloads for the past couple of hours and I don't know what to get :/
