getting e-mail with domain

Hi guys

i am starting a blog and want to get a domain based e mail something like [email protected]

and at the same time i want to send newsletter to my subscribers but i am a little bit confused

first of all

1) how can i create domain based e mails? and how can i use them ?

2) there are tons of mail servers out there. i cant decide which one is ideal for me

are these platforms only for sending bulk e mail to subscribers?

You can get the e-mail address from your domain host . If its C-panel host; login to c-panel ->
Mail section->e-mail accounts-> you can create any e-mail address @yourdomain. Same place to access your e-mail accounts (InComing and OutGoing).

Mailservers: It's depends on your needs, how big is your list. Most people use mail-servers to inbox their e-mail to recipients. You can use WordPress and plugins to do it free (to send bulk e-mails), some hosting company have built-in facilities to send bulk e-mails or auto-responder.

i dont want to use my domain provider's interface for mailing . can mailservers provide me mailing service ? or then can only be used for bulk mailing and newsletter purposes?

It's fairly simple,
Once you register with mailchimp , before you can send emails you will have to provide an "FROM" email address and there you insert your email e.g [email protected] .

The users will see your email in the "from" and not mailchimp one.

If you don't wish to use 3rd party services you could get your self an cool VPS hosting plan, and send your LEGAL newsletters to your subscribers for free using opensource scripts . This whey you will have your websites and mail server all in one place.

Sure they can. That's the purpose of mail-servers. But you need to verify (according my knowledge, I could be wrong) your e-mail address first that you are going to use. So create one from your domain/hosting provider and use that with your chosen mail-servers.

By the way, most e-mail services have "live chat help", it will be best for you to consult with them for your needs.

Use Google Apps. Costs around $3 a month (depending on your location) but they have a 30-day trial.

They're the best in my opinion, because it's just like Gmail.
