Getting double the traffic after panda 3.4

Hi, i am a noobie (trying to learn but so hard) on SEO and
i would like to share my changes after panda 3.4 so you guys can
figure out and help grow this community.

I have a very small micro niche site targeted for a small volume (1000 exact local). The site has 2 originally written articles, has 8 pages indexed, 2 including contact and privacy.
I used each articles to create 3 pages each (duplicated).

So the site is somewhat thin.
I didn't do any backlinks building as this was a small test 8 month ago.

Now, all my other sites I have done got hit by 3.4 and ranks got dropped alot,
but this site actually bumped up to 3rd from like 8th.

moreover, the site was getting alot of traffic from other keyword (keyword variation) which I did not target(well I haven't built any backlinks so that wouldn't matter anyways).
Anyways, apparantely I was 3rd position for two other keywords and they both are 3600exact.

I used to get 40-50 visitors/day before 3.4, and now i get 90-100/day.

P.S. (while i was writing this, I went and checked the indexed pages,
and I went into one of them and found a video which I did not remember I put there. Out of curiosity I clicked play button to see what that video is and the second I clicked I realized it was the video ad from adsense!!!,
OMG, will I get banned for this?)

Same here..for whatever reason one of my sites used to get about 40 unique clicks a day. Now it gets 102 unique clicks through a day.

I have no idea if panda is over yet, but some keywords have gone from position 490 to position 5 in the last few days.

Google stated it was a "Refresh" and no algorithm changes, 1.5% of search queres were effected. It looks like you were in that refresh
