Getting Domain Names the Don't Suck

I'm sure everybody has just a wonderful time finding that "perfect" domain name for that "perfect" niche they know nothing about. This is a little trick I picked up a couple of months back that I'd thought I'd share with ya'll.

1. Pick out your main keyword. Don't worry if it's broader then my ex-girlfriend's shoulders, in fact the broader the better.

2. Head over to the good olde trusty G00gle keyword tool, plug it in and get some keywords.


3. Click on Add All link on the bottom of the lists. There may be a few of them.

4. Download the file as a text file and Ctr+C those keywords.


5. Head on over to g0daddy's Bulk Register. Don't be afraid to check some boxes. I usually stick with the .com, .net and .org but it's up to you.



6. Ctr+V your Keywords, enter the Capcha and Wam-O. Hopefully you'll find a hand of domain names that don't suck. There you go

hey does that "Bulk Register" commit you to registering, or do you get the option of picking the ones you like prior to charges?

You have to go through a the registration process and click a bunch of confirm processes... so no, your a re not committed to registering.

I have been using this exact same method for over 6 months, and it works great. I have been able to come up with some great names. Personally, I stick to the .com because of the potential type in traffic.

i do the same thing except i use moniker's bulk check

I have done the same for some time now, and found some very good domains.. There is another key to this that can make you even more effective in search engines.. For now I am keeping my trade secrets to myself. *hint* *hint*

Yea I've pulled out a few domains out of Godaddy and was really quite amazed. I suppose if you really wanted to get funky with it, you can fire up the old notepad and replace all the spaces (_)s with (-)s in your keyword list. That should fill your coffers with some pretty sweet domain names.

I have been finding domains like this for a while but never thought of loading it into the bulk register on godaddy, thanks for this post...
