An Indian friend was similarly frustrated because he tried hard over time but got no results (read: money) online. I told him to use ebay.in and look for something that he would love to have but would cost only a few Rupees, e.g. 60~70 (roughly $1). When he selects such an item or two, he should work online at whatever he feels he can, and earn that $, and then buy the item. In a week he bought 2 such items doing article writing. Actually it took him some more days to get the money in his bank through PP after earning it within a week!

Then I asked him to increase the goals: this time he should select something that costs $3~4 worth (approx. Rs. 250~300 value). He did that too within a week plus another 4-5 days after getting money in his bank-- writing articles, again! He did the same three or four times within the next month or so.

Then.... goal: Rs 500+... within a month he achieved it (just one case though this time). But he purchased a good saree (a kind of Indian dress, for ladies) for his mom. Then he kept doing it, earning similar amounts every month. He had found his first real niche -- articles writing.

He is now earning a lot more in 3-4 niches, but is still writing articles, a skill which he discovered he possessed, and which had helped him begin a career, gather confidence, and consistent online income.

Point: Set smaller easier goals and achieve them first. Then keep at it without any distractions. Once you taste success, you can diversify into other harder things... may be, what you're now with, isn't really your baby! i.e., may be you're in a wrong niche...

Surely you've heard the saying, "theres more than one way to skin a cat" well this definitely applies to internet marketing. For the life of me I cant figure out why people spend all of their time and money trying to rank in the search engines, I mean the ultimate goal is to make money right? Theres hundreds of other tactics you could use besides seo, the easiest way to make money online is to study and pay attention to what others are doing to make money online and copy them thats right copy them I said it, thats why I make so much money because I watch other people. This is a good forum but im not even really talking about watching people on here because while people will give you some good tips they are not gonna tell you their true methods that they use to really bank, im not either I mean who could blame them thats why its important to pay attention to the details, for instance if you have a product you wanna sell, do a google search for it and see how others are advertising their products i guarantee you its not always seo thats putting them on the first page of google.
