It's a lot simpler than you think. Not sure if this has been posted before but since I can't find it anywhere I'm posting it (it's a common method). You can use xrumer or manual posting (a LOT better for this.)

1. Search the forum for your content/relevant content on your topic. For example search for anything on weight loss on the forum via google.
for example:
site:http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi weight

Even though they're all physics things it will still count as slightly relevant so post a relevant answer on the post (to weight loss).

2. In your post make a smiley (default smiley like the forum has like this):
http://www.google.com
And make it link to your site.

3. BOOM! relevant content backlink to your site from a good forum.

Hey, good share
I do exactly as you describe but with transparent .gif 3px*3px
nobody see it :)

Someone has said about this method. But thanks anyway. Do you run this method? Not ban accounts for use it?

Yeah, I'm wondering if you'll eventually get banned for that? Seems kind of spammy.

For admins are difficult to see both methods!

not seen this method for years :)

"why so serious" this trick used to be called

hyper link that transparent 3x3 image from the site you are linking to and on your site use your keywords to name that transparent image and then you can link the image to the page you want. double links with double keywords. triple word score! winwinwin
