    Hi all,

I have a competitor and I'd like to know what they are ranking well for... I'm sort of going in blind and doing it the wrong way round I know... but thats life

I understand this could be a hard task but whats the best way to go about it?

    thanks

You could get a brief overview by heading over to SEMRUSH and plugging in your competitor.

You may find majesticSEO useful as well for this.

You can use Semrush for free for a few queries, and it's quite useful for the stuff you're looking for

You can use Ahrefs and copy/past their website URL in it and get a detailed report not only on their rank
but their backlink profile as well.

You can use Alexa for traffic(if they are big enough) and Woorank for SEO data.

Yes, totally agree all the comments above: Ahrefs, Spyglass, MajesticSEO. Personally I'm using Ahesfs (free) and MajesticSEO (free) and you can signup for an account free too. Otherwise, you can easily search for Spyglass (cracked version) in this forum. It's not hard to "spy" what your competitors are doing and "copy" their back-linking!
