Does anyone have these, and have tips on how to find commission only sales people? It annoys me because I hear of these giant call centers and this and that that have commission only sales people but when I look for them I can't find a single damn one! Commission only sales people are usually harder working, because they know they have to be to get a check. Hourly people take their damn time and have no real rush.
Any tips of finding them or maybe "wording" in my ads or what. Maybe you offer a 'base' if they meet a sales quota. I dont know!

Hi there
Depends on the services you are selling

I personally tried the fiverr system and worked while i was travelling in Asia, targeting businesses in Asia:

Fiverr
Check those who distribute flyers or can go to a location to advertise.
Contact many of them, see if you can find your location or country.
Offer them your percent commission if they find you a client.
Bingo, they are distributing your flyers and n same time doing door to door to get big bucks.

My experience:
Landed in an Asian country, i do not speak the language, was worried about the cash.
Fiverr, contacted around 30 people, 20 something answered, 11 agreed, offered them 100 bucks (that's a local salary) and bingo worked fine, 7 of those 11 found me a client.
Obvously i reduced my prices a lot (web design).
ps: they even helped me to translate the services etc etc

Tip: when contacting them, do not show that you are desperate to get clients, play the BIG GUY.

Hope this helps

They don't exist - if you can't afford to pay staff you should not be hiring staff.

Sounds great to have 20 of them running around for me all day, would be making cash like clockwork all day. I think the problem is what Ste Hughes said, your never going to find any of them.

Don't look in the US.....

I used to run a pretty big call center. The best way we set up pay and commission was hourly pay vs commission. Which ever was higher is what they received.

What products or services are you trying to sell? Also are you looking for sales people in rural or urban areas or both? They're out there, I would assume your pay structure isn't competitive enough for the market you're trying to recruit in or your message isn't compelling enough. I would scan job ads in the area you're looking to recruit that are commission only and look for companies that have been around for a while. Life insurance sales would be a good place to start in any market. Also if it isn't obvious, 99% or Realtors are 1099 full commission.

it always depend on the type of service you are offering. there are a lot of people looking for such jobs like on sale on commission, which according to me works best because the sales people in pursuit of earning more from their sales, they end up earning more for your business. you can always find sales people with a reputation online like in fiverr and I am sure they shall satisfy your desires. the only thing that you need to do is offer them good deals or else you will not find anyone. thanks

Commission Sales reps do exist. We have had a ton of success with this. Typically works better for us if the reps are local. This way you can train them in person and send them on their way. Craigslist is a hit or miss if you're looking for serious reps outside of your area.

If you show the earning potential, properly train your reps and offer incentives based on progress - goals met etc, then commission only has the ability to work just fine. Your reps just have to see a consistent sales flow. We have had some reps stay as long as 5 years on a commission only salary.
