Is it better to create the RSS feed, or to just ping the links directly through Scrapebox.

I usually blast the backlinks with scrapebox directly, this way they get a bit of weight.

^ What he said.

Honestly, pinging alone doesn't do shit, unless your pinging a blog with good, unique content. I challenge anyone to prove me otherwise.

Sorry, let me rephrase it. If a backlink has not yet been indexed, do you usually just ping the backlink directly, or create a RSS feed, then ping the feed.

It very much depends what the backlink is, if its a forum profile or a non blog page then in my experience pinging will do absolutely nothing, zip. If it IS a blog page/post then I never have problems getting them indexed naturally.

Non blog pages (i.e. article/forum profiles etc) I will blast with scrapebox to get them indexed, plus, as acotut says, it gives them a little bit of weight.

I have no experience in creating an RSS feed of backlinks though, but I know of people who do this with good results.
