I'm getting a backlink attack and I couldn't find out who threw it, I only suspect a few sites.

Is there a backlink software you recommend that I will attack them.

Or does anyone sell this service?

Does the disavow tool really work and how can I get rid of these backlinks?

  1. Use Google Search Console to identify suspicious backlinks.
  2. Utilize Google's Disavow Tool for links you can't remove.
  3. Keep an eye on your backlink profile for further issues.
  4. If needed, seek assistance from SEO experts.
Avoid retaliation and focus on ethical, long-term strategies to protect your site's reputation and ranking. Best of Luck!

Please disavow then
Also if you know seo then it is fine
Otherwise consult a SEO expert.

Also check and compare which pages have been hit by them
There might be a lot of factors that can impact the rankings and traffic.

Backlinks can be the one

I know a little seo. I'll update all my posts

I know a little seo. I'll update all my posts
TBH:
Updating posts is not at all SEO
Most of the developers also post and update the sites but that does not mean they know SEO.

So
SEO involves complete On page
Technical and Off page seo

Thank you for the answer. I will consult a seo expert

i think you need an Search Engine Expert to fix it.

Analyze your backlinks and:

  • Create a list of unwanted links
  • Submit the list in Search Console for removal
  • The problem is solved.

Use Google's Disavow Tool wisely to get rid of bad links and focus on getting good ones for a better website reputation

Do not focus on these links alone. Check your content and other sites ranking with it!

The backlinks will most likely be ignored by Google anyway.

If your content appears on other websites, it won't be ignored, and can rank even better than on yours - thus the loss of traffic.

Old method to attack a competitor's website.

Disavow the spam backlinks as advised. Also, update your existing pages if needed, publish more quality articles, and add more backlinks from relevant authority websites.

Regularly monitor your website's backlink profile using the backlink analysis tools or Using Google search console tool .
Using Google's Disavow Tool to Avoid Spammy Backlinks .
If you are unable to handle the backlink attack on your own seeking assistance from professional SEO experts .

You can use tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz to analysis the backlinks and you can check origin of the backlinks if you have any suspect sites these tools will help you

How do you check if someone has stolen your content. All was ok for my site in October last year. I don't build backlinks and I had about 41 referring domains. 4 months later and I have 191 referring domains. I don't know if someone/ something is targeting me, if these spammy links are being ignored. But my traffic has dropped to almost nothing from 7000 a week and my traffic was based on good blog articles

Just check on google or use a plag scanner. Also check which other sites moved up on these keywords since you are experiencing this traffic loss and look at their content.
