Getting back publishing rights to a popular fb page

I know this has been discussed lot of times but I still can't find a concrete answer. So, the page has around 800k likes and I got my publishing rights taken away a few months back.

The page is about a food item. And a domain with same name as the page is available.

Now I read somewhere a long time back that I can create a basic website with some content and put the page's widget and submit an appeal to activate publishing rights. I'm not sure if that works anymore. Can any of you tell me if it still works?

Is there any other technique to get back my publishing rights?

Your not getting it back.thats the answer.the precautions you take before you lose it thats what saves you once they take it away.all you can do is email facebook.but i dont think your email ever gets through.so no you will never get it back.you should move on.

Read a story not to long ago about a man who had over a million likes on his facebook page and facebook took his publishing rights away. Well facebook got sued by that man and that man won over a million dollars. Don't forget just because its on their policy does not mean they can take away every right lol. Pm me and ill tell you what to email them. I don't know if it will help but it's worth a shot.

But on what grounds? The page is about a food item which neither I invented nor I discovered. So for something that generic, I don't think I can do anything much. Also, unfortunately, I'm not from US and suing is something which is kinda unheard of.

I fail to see how they would have won that lawsuit..

As far as I'm aware, it is extremely hard to get publishing rights back - however, if you think it is worth a try - go ahead with it.

Well that guy's main source of income was from that fan page. Just google these things and you will find a ton of them lol.
