Hello,

For one of my whitehat sites I'm getting an average of 100 unique visitors a day but I want to increase my traffic even more. My goal is to try to reach at least a 1000 traffic hits a day (if that is even possible!).
The thing is, I feel like I peaked out and haven't seen an increase to the average number of hits for almost 2 months now. I thought of doing some blackhat link building and other methods such as paid traffic but after all the hard work I'm really kind of hesitant. I also just recently saw a post about linkcollider but not so sure if that is whitehat or blackhat. Sounds more like the latter.

I've done youtube vids, twitter, and online SEO. Offline such as Backlinks are all natural but there are not so many.

If anyone has any suggestions on increasing traffic, I'm all ears. Thanks for reading!

Add more contents and build more backlinks. You can also hire some seo services.

Social networking and perhaps befriending others who are more well-known within your niche so that they can put a good word in for you?

Check where your users comes from, google, google images, social sites, twitter? maybe you could find the answer there, otherwise more backlinks and content are never wrong

Please share your keyword competition. How many exact search it gets? and the main thing what you have done for its SEO? Please share with us.

There are lots of software available in this forum to increase traffic ...Why dont you give a try...:)

Hello everyone! Sorry for not responding soon enough but thank you for your constructive replies.

I will try to implement some of the techniques you all shared.

As an optimist, I do believe that my niche could bring in a potential of 1000 a day. I understand that many factors may affect it, but the number one factor is ranking within at least the top 5 could bring in good traffic results esp. since more than 80% of users are coming mainly from Google

The keyword competition is fairly high but I think my rankings are good enough that I'm getting constant traffic and I'm confident it will stay that way. I have not seen that much of an affect through the recent google updates.

Anyway, here's what I've done for my online SEO.

I write up good content and use social media (plus, fb, twitter, youtube). That's it! I think I should focus more on offline SEO. Hope that helps for anyone try to reach that first 100.

There's a lot more to on-site SEO, including meta tags, page titles, canonical URLs, submit sitemaps, robot.txt, image alt tags .. the real white hat stuff. I feel in this forum people are so focused on black hat that they forget the basics of SEO. You have to optimize your site for your keywords before blasting backlinks... And I don't see how your site is white hat if you haven't done all those things that I've mentioned above!! PM me if you want some more advice

Thanks for reminding us of that. Quite funny you mention that people forget the basics because to me, these basics are so automatic to me I forgot to mention them . You just forgot one more thing if there aren't any left. H tags.

You say that there aren't so many backlinks, so for me it seems like your first step should be to build more of those, and increase the diversity of backlinks. Have you submitted to article directories? Are you doing blog comments and forum posts? It's good that your backlinks are natural as this makes them more likely to stick, now you should up the number that you post. And maybe some more content. How often do you add content? Spiders like sites that keep adding fresh content.

build 9 more whitehat sites. do what you did the first time. If you want to keep the niche the same make micro niche sites. theres your 1k hits a day

you will be needing SEO services now, you can hire some person for that purpose.
