Getting Articles Written On A Budget?

I hope I am posting this in the right forum. If not, I apologize.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get decent articles written for a website for low cost? Would I be able to find anyone on sites like Freelancer, or is everyone charging a lot these days?

Fiverr you can find some decent writers. I write there myself when I have extra time. 400-600 words for $5 typically. Be sure to read the feedback before you order.

oDesk has been really great for me. You need to dig through a lot of applicants to get to the real gems but I've gotten decent writers for my sites for as low as $1.00/300 words, but I usually give them a raise pretty quick so I can keep them for the long haul.

If your budget is even smaller, download instant article wizard from the downloads section here, and clean up whatever it spits out.

Wel to be frank due to the rise in cost of living the expenses, nowa days the cost for everything has gone up and high.

You can look into places like freelancer and lot many others, but I fear my friend you won't get a quality work done for a low bid.

This websites have got the facility to bid on and hence the lowest bid is selected, but before you do that check the profile of the person you are giving your work to, for lot many times it has so happened that they bid a lower amount which probably you would like and select the person for, but your work never comes in time, rather I would suggest you to rely on sites like BHW, for it is an open forum and you can discuss and get views about someone from here by others, no matter what but the % of reviews are unbiased which would help you choose the best person

Anyways since am also a writer hence would like to ask you of what expected figure would you like to pay someone whom you want to write decent articles for your website
 
You can get low paying writers. I have some people who are doing 500 word articles for about $1.60 per article. But the quality is so so. Not horrible I have seen worse.
 
oDesk & freelancer is probably the best for cheap. I've given up applying there because employers seem to think anywhere above $2.5 a pop is too much LOL.

I'm doing 3 for $10 on Webgigs.ca but I can also do bulk lots for $3.25 or I go with the $4 for single articles from fiverr.

I made my first fiverr gig.
2 artilces at 400 words each for $5.00.
So we will see how it goes.
 
You can get the articles writers from BHW, in case not check out Elance it's simple and easy . Launch your project with the budget you have and you will get response from every corner of the world, make you move then.

Im from the UK and i can write for $0.90 for 100 words. I have been writing good quality articles for a while for a few BHW members and other clients.

The old adage rings true with article writing as it does for everything else: You get what you pay for.

Sure you can still find people who will write for a relatively small amount of money, but you can expect all sorts of errors that you are going to have to spend time correcting. That's if you're lucky, I've seen articles that don't make a bit of sense, articles that you could never post on a website, the quality was really that bad.
 
I would suggest you stop looking for cheap high quality articles. 1 high quality article that makes sense is better than 10 junk articles that sound like a half retarded squirrel wrote, no? Either pay for junk and get junk, or pay for quality and get quality.
 
I got a message on my fiverr account. A client wanted me to write
five 500 word articles. Thats $1.00 for 500 words.

Are you serious because they(client) generally pay $5 per article on fiverr. Astonishing and a big joke. :lmao:
