Getting adsense approval for niche on paintball/airsoft?

Hello,
I just got denied adsense approval for a site that is on the subject of paintball/airsoft. Obviously it seems that the word "gun" has triggered the denial from the crawler. If I remove or change out the word / phrases related to "gun", will that get approval after I reapply?

Or do I accept the denial and strictly have to do affiliates for earning on this site?

You can always re-apply again. If your articles are unique and not plagiarized and there is no triggered words you will be accepted.
