Getting a second phone number

Skype is a good way to get a voip number in your area for customers to use.

Maybe download a calling/texting app on your phone? If not then skype can work. Maybe even those prepaid cell phone by virgin mobile, they're like $25 a month for unlimited everything.

i use and recommend flynumber, its cheap and you can choose almost most US cities and even forward it to different numbers.

I would suggest getting a prepaid card as well. Back then I would use my Google Voice number as my business number, but then it starts to get really hard to keep track of who's calling me for business and who's calling me for private matters. After I upgraded to a new phone, I just use my old phone as a business phone and stick a prepaid sim card into it. You don't have to pay a lot, just get something that fits your business's needs.

I am looking to get a second number on my cell phone but just wondering what everyones experiences are on the best services to go about this or some alternatives. I have been giving out my personal number on my business fliers, website, and business cards and would like to start keeping my main number private.
You may try Telos. I saw some users use it to keep their primary numbers private in the reviews.
