Getting a keyword domain to number 1 spot

Hi folks,

Have any of you got any experience of getting an exact keyword domain to the number one spot on Google?

2 days ago i registered a low to medium competition very niche exact keyword domain with over 30 k monthly local serches.

I have a dropshipping account with a company who sells products related to my niche with decent profit margins of atleast 30% up to 75% I have also set up zen cart and done all the on page seo stuff. The site is ready for business.. I just need to get to that number one spot!


Just how good are keyword domains for serps??

The exact keyword domain will give you a big advantage - all other things considered - good unique articles, good onpage seo, some backlinks...

Of course it depends on the competition and how well they prepare. I have several exact keyword domains in forex niche and believe me, it's tough.
But it's doable. I have many sites on the first page.

Do it slow for a long term effect, unless you feel frisky and don't mind sand box for a while...

I forgot to add that the extension is important - the easiest is .com, after that .net and .org and finally .info. After that the advantage seems to diminish.

I was planning on taking it easy with the backlinks for the first few months. I think there is decent money to be made if i can get the traffic of a number one spot.

If everything goes to plan i would love to roll out 20 + sites .. ive found another 6 exact keyword domains all with 27,000 + local searches realted to this niche today
