Hi,
Recently i received a cheque from the US (im from the UK) i went to bank it which i thought would be straight forward as a bank tends to have a currency conversion ready. (im guessing this is the case as people withdraw different currency before they go on holiday?)
Anyway it wasnt straight forward they had to fill out a load of paper work and send the cheque off to another department to get the best conversion rate or something..
Is this really how its done? I really thought it was going to be straight forward but i guess its going to be a grind i will have to bare! (unless there is a simple way im overseeing)
