Remember that when your account was created in USA and phone verified in China it’s a big footprint to get banned soon

i had accounts made in France been using Chinese numbers on them for 2 years, and everything is ok, there are many factors to consider when being banned like links in bio or aggressive settings and i don't use any of that,still thanks for the warning

It is a footprint, but have not heard or seen any proof this alone gets you banned.
But still, something to be aware of.
With getsms, I have had accounts fail to verify with Chinese numbers, but were fine with other countries they provide

Yet another myth. IG doesn't care if your number is from the same country you're loggin in from. It could be "another flag", but by itself it makes almost zero difference.
