Hi, I needed to grab the keywords from YouTube videos for a specific search.
This is a little tool that I came up with to save time. Its a .net 4.0 application so you will already need that framework installed.

It takes a keyword from your source keyword list and searches YouTube with it.
It then extracts all unique keywords from the first page of videos and gets you a lot of keyword ideas.

Or it can simple just do one video url.

Like I say, its something knocked up to solve a task so there's plenty of room for improvement!

This is a nice little tool that I've used in the past. It'll help you gather some useful keywords when needed. Good to use with a newly uploaded video so you can get the most searched keywords.

Thanks man. I downloaded it last night and used it. It was a real time saver.

Proxies must be saved in the same folder correct??
Also How does the 2nd part of the software works in which we have to enter YT video link.

Its blocked, tells me malicious file.

What antivirus is that? Its a false positive, not sure why its throwing that, its a pretty basic vb program. Your call in the
end of course though.

correct, it reads the file proxies.txt from the same folder as the exe.
One proxy per line as proxy:port
The more proxies you load the better but saying that ive tested with 20 proxies and 300 threads scraping a big list and faced no issues.

The 2nd part if you paste a youtube video url (ie /watch?v=xxxxxx) it will just scrape the tags/keywords from that one page. Where as the search part gets all first page videos for each search term.

Nice tool! Is there any tool to scrape the youtube suggest keywords?

here you go...

UPDATED - Added YouTube Auto Suggest scraper
also added a "go deeper" option which returns more auto suggest results and scrapes the first 5 pages of search results rather just page 1.

virus total is showing 1/39 seems its throwing a false positive again. Willing to provide the source to a MOD if anyone wants more reassurance.

I might add a "sort by popularity" to the found tags list if i get time :)

Thanks for update....
