Well, I downloaded the uBot trial and got to tinkering with it with one goal in mind: To sort of expand on PHPBuilt's vBulletin profile browser.

So here is my own vBulletin profile browser, it works a bit different than his, but hopefully you all enjoy.

Now, bear in mind that I've been working on this for less than 8 hours now, so there's quite a bit that I'd like to add to it and will.. But for now, this little thing is a gem for what it is.

It's only compatible with vBulletin, as that's the major forum platform with the "recent 10 visitors to this profile" widget.

Here's how it works....

You load a text file with 1 profile per line in the following format (or simply load your "XRumer/logs/templates/registered accounts.txt" file)

Next, load a text file with your proxies in "127.0.0.1:1234" format (IP:PORT), I recommend private proxies with IP authorization, as that's what I use and I haven't tried it with anything else.

Now, just hit "Run".

Here's what it does....

1.. Sets random proxy.
2.. Clears cookies.
3.. Sets agent as IE8.
4.. Navigates to the next profile.
5.. Navigates to the forum's homepage.
6.. Logs in using the username & password. [waits 2 seconds]
7.. Returns to the forum's homepage, even if they forward you somewhere else.
8.. Scrapes "member.php?" links from the homepage.
9.. Visits each of those profiles using your account.
10.. Step 1.

What good is this bot? It will basically ensure that your profiles are indexed, since now your profile will be linked to every profile on the homepage (latest posters, online users, etc.)

There are some limitations:
Only compatible with vBulletin.
Only compatible with "member.php?" links (u=12345 and user-name)

There are also advantages:
Does not visit every single member's profile, which means it looks natural and doesn't take hours to process one forum.
Visits homepage profiles, which are most likely indexed/frequent posters.

But, as I said.. I will be adding to this bot. It's an 8 hour old project and I plan to use it frequently, so I want it to be thorough.

Advertise on BHW
You should be able to edit it with "edit post" or if not ask mod to do it. Also you should have posted this in downloads i guess

I hope that's ok.. The method is awesome, but visiting every profile just isn't practical for me. Not to mention, if I ran a forum, I would ban somebody really quick if I seen that in my tracker.

I know, I'm really happy with how this bot turned out as well. Hopefully I can get some more features in there before the 2 week uBot trial expires. :P

Some of the things I'd like to do are actually read a XRumer profiles text file. So the username and password could vary and you could basically just load the text file and go.

I'd also like it to be able to use other proxies, possibly PW protected private proxies and I haven't really tried it with public proxies. I suppose I should put something in there where if the proxy fails it tries the next one. Maybe tomorrow.

But download it and check it out, it works really well actually given its limitations.

Either way, I really hope you like this free app that I built specifically with BHW in mind totally for free; which utilizes a method to index links that nobody but PHPBuilt has really thought of up to this point. Thanks for stopping by. :)
 
Man, regular expressions are a bitch. Never even heard of them before today.

Good news: This thing can read directly from a XRumer "Registered Accounts.txt" file now. :)

Those who don't know, the context is this:

This bad boy plucks the URL, goes there, then plucks the User/Pass and logs in.. Unfortunately, I wasn't done editing a piece when I closed and saved my project. Apparently in uBot, you can't save unfinished stuff, then open the file again (there can't be any errors when you save). Retarded.
 
I have updated it a bit today... There were some issues, primarily with proxies. If you loaded 10 proxies, on the 11th profile it would stop. So now, it instead loads a random proxy from the list.

Also IT NOW READS DIRECTLY FROM YOUR "REGISTERED ACCOUNTS.TXT" FILE FROM XRUMER!!!

I also removed a couple of the delays, so it's a bit faster and ampersands were being formatted as "&" in URLs, fixed that. I changed the user agent to IE8 as well, I believe Chrome was causing an issue on some sites.

I've almost got this thing doing a little bit more fun stuff. :)

Today I made some cool changes, now instead of simply scraping "member.php?" links, it scrapes any links with the words "member, blog, search" in them and visits them all. This does a couple of things, it of course makes it more universal since not all vBulletin forums use the "/member.php?" format; some use "/member/" or "member/?". Also, on many, the latest posters displayed are shown as "search=latest&f=51" which forwards to their profile.

I've got a couple of things to get working before I can upload this one.. It needs to be able to discern between a relative URL and a complete URL; it needs to do some cleaning up of certain URLs; and there's a loop function of actually visiting the profiles giving me some grief. No worries.

This thing is getting to be a slick little gem.

Took out profile page loading, now it just loads the URLs. Profiles still show your visit, but all URLs now take about 2 seconds to load.. Adding your profile link to hundreds of profiles/blogs in seconds.
Also searches for "profile" now.
A cool little counter that tells you what profile you're on, how many links were scraped from that profile and how many links it's visited.

Fixed:
Link handling. It was running into issues with sites that forwarded URLs, used subdomains, etc. That's all fixed. Now the only sites I can see a problem with are caused by forums that set their root directory up a certain way. (it gets its directory from the login.php page, so if they forward somewhere else from there using htaccess or something, it misses them.. Some of these forum owners are clever, especially the ones on the default XRumer list, lol.)

Also wasn't scraping ALL links. I fixed that, too. (it was set to scrap everything left of "<a href=" well that missed out on a lot of site's links that are set up "<a name="abc" href" So now just scrapes "href=")

Proxies. There was a problem looping through the proxies, it would fail once it got to the end of the list. I got it sorted out now. It selects a random proxy from your list every for every site now.

Passwords were being entered multiple times into one field occasionally.

I'm eager to try this out, but I can't seem to get it to log in. The username and password are always blank. Any trick to setting them up in the text file?
 
And it's finally stable. :) I'm running it through 220 default XRumer profiles and it's done half.

ADDED:
Second login attempt. It's not possible at this point to get every single vBulletin login. Some of the moderators are crafty, renaming the login form, and all of its properties (I found one that was named "query" like a search box.) So what I did was, when it's sent to the login page after logging in (you've logged in page or denied page), if the STANDARD vBulletin login form is on that page, it will attempt to login again. So on 99% of forums, it works. On the ones who've taken some strong protections against bots, it's going to waste 4 seconds of your time unless you pause, login and resume before it attempts its own login. ;)

FIXED:
Proxies. I really fixed them this time and it successfully loops. Only thing, it won't display the very last proxy on your list, it will use it, but won't display it. Not a problem to me, so long as it loops through the list.

Timing. There's a couple of things that were simply going too fast, so I had to put some pauses in there to allow loading time. Like when it scrapes for blog/member/search/profile, it stores them on 4 separate lists, then consolidates the 4 lists, then uses that large list. Adding 4 lists to 1 list was causing crashes, so there's a half second in there each time it loads a list. Kinda cool, though, you can watch the link amounts grow.

Seriously, though. This thing is intense. It adds hundreds of onsite backlinks to your vBulletin profiles in seconds. Making your profile one of the most active pages on the site.

Cool stuff.

(Note, some forums may cause it to crash if they're not vBulletin forums or if many standard vBulletin properties are modified. It does its best to compensate for non-vB forums and modded versions, but once in while, they'll get the bot. For this, note where it crashed, remove the URL and ones before it from the link list, maybe add them to the end... This way it will start from where it left off. Otherwise, I've had it running for long lengths of time with no issue.)

Little bit extra, and I'm done for today..

ADDED:

A drop down so you can select "Fast Mode" or "Slow Mode"... Fast mode will blast all URLs at once, however, this will miss several profiles. Mainly, the latest posters. It will get the currently online list and any other straggling profile links, that's it. (If the forum does not have a currently online list, you'll get practically nothing). Slow mode will completely load each individual member URL.. This can take quite a bit longer, especially on forums with 500+ links on the homepage. BUT, it will definitely get 99% of the homepage links.

Also, the drop down works in real time. So you can switch back and forth between Slow & Fast without restarting the bot.

Note: You'll see a lot of 404 pages in Slow Mode, don't worry about these. If the forum uses any funky redirects or other things that trick the bot, you'll lose that time as well. You might spend a bit of time waiting on page loads as well, but uBot's built in browser is pretty meh. Hopefully the fix below takes care of most of this, though. :)

FIXED:

I cleaned up the process of running through the homepage links, so it's a bit smoother now. Also, this will hopefully take care of problems with non-vBulletin forums.

I'm having trouble loading the profiles account info. I use the exact way mentioned above but it doesn't load the password or username I hit run it doesn't fill in the fields at all, just leaves them blank.

Using windows 7 64 bit
 
Make sure that you are using the very latest version that I have uploaded. The download link in the first post of this thread is very old and crappy. I make a new download link every time I update the bot and post it here. :)

Be sure to use either private proxies, fresh public proxies or private shared lists would be best. Having a bad proxy in your list will slow the bot down. (It will just fail to load that item and move on, but it takes forever to fail.)
