I don't know for you guys, but when I have a SEO customer, I can't find a way to organize my backlinks. I can have social bookmarks on Fiverr, EDU links in my email box and Web 2.0 pages on SENuke. At one point, I thought, "I should create a software to store all my backlinks in one place!"

As far as I knew, there was no software to handle URLs. Sure, there was one in SENuke, but it didn't work well (in my case, anyway) and nobody would spend over $100 per month just for a URLs manager.

Let me introduce you Ur(L)Manager!

To be honest, the software in itself is dead simple. I didn't need anything complex. You can add, modify and delete projects. You can mark them as active, suspended or completed. You can put the name of the business owner, his phone number, his website and his email. You can store articles, backlinks and citations.

That's all.

Could I add new and exciting features? Sure thing! In fact, I'm interested in doing a SEO project manager, but I don't need one and I don't know if you guys would use it.

That's where you come in play! If you like this software, please do give me suggestions on what you want to see next!

Warning: This software has not been created to handle large amounts of data (> 100 000 scrapebox links, for instance). I didn't see the point in keeping links who are massively deleted and used to boost the first tiers.

Warning #2: This is a BETA version. Expect bugs and missing features.

Pretty simple!.. Thank you this could be of much use for sure. I can store links based on client names.

Thanks for he app VanillaH. Here is the first suggestion. Add some documentation on how to use it.

Even that the application is very simple it still has few things that need to be explained.

For example before you can do anything with the app you have to add a project by right clicking the left panel it took me a while to fin that out.

In the article tab it has A M D. At fisrt you can see that A= add article but you don't know what are the rest until you add an article. So:

A= Add Article
M= Modify article tittle
D=Delete article.

I guess you now can copy and paste this in to the readme file :).

What does the back links citation tab do or how to use it?

Now that you say it, I find myself a little bit silly because it's not that obvious. I've used the software for a while now... Anyway, the Backlinks and Citations tab is used to keep track of your backlinks and citations; you can store them by categories (Web 2.0, social bookmarks, wiki links and so on...)

The ability to make groups with different projects would be nice.

Using your own example you could just make 3 groups (bookmarks, edu links,SEnuke links) and you should be able to handle you own links easier :).

This could be a Really Really Handy Software. Only 4 Thanks :(

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

I mean having the ability to make categories(folders) inside the active projects.

It would be nice if we could group together different projects so we can segregate the different types of activities.

Or it could also be the ability to add our own categories to the dropdown.

No sure If I have explained my self well.

REALLY needed this! I have so many text files laying around I have no clue what is what lol

Is there a way to combine All the links in a project into a text file for pinging?

I do understand, thanks. I'll see about that.

Thanks for the software.

I have a suggestion. Maybe you should also add a feature where you can include the page rank for each link, the date it was added on the app, and some sticky note area for each link.

Nice share!

I've actually looked for something like this. All links everywhere is rather annoying..

Not yet, but I'll see what I can do.

It could be, but if you have many URLs to check (> 1500?), then you would have to use proxies.

I'm going to see what I can do.

Vanilla,
Just got done coding a plugin for wordpress that does keyword rank check lookups (using google) and includes a url manager as well (create categories, check whether a url is indexed or not), see screenshot for example:

Basically ,if you go the route of using proxies, make sure they're google enabled and that you have enough to use for checking tons and tons of backlinks. Better yet, put an option in there for private proxy usage and rotate proxies every 5 lookups so that they don't burnout. I only mention mine because A) it's a paid plugin and B) You're is free :)
