Maybe someone could hook it up the the twitter api?
What this script does is read tweets from an rss xml file and display their updated items every x seconds through a jquery script.
Yuu use Twitter's search to search a keyword, or a niche so to say, and then create an rss feed based on that term. Then you plug it into the script and you have a channel your visitors can watch, and maybe even stimulate chat.
I saw this being done during a ustream live show, they had a chatbox type thing monitoring tweets that included the keyword @phish (my neighbors a big fan). They'd use their twitter accounts to talk to each other while they watched.
can I get some feedback?
I think twitter and like social networks might become the reincarnation of mirc, except in a web2.0 way.
what do you guys think?
