The OP has shared a simple offline method, even if he exaggerated the numbers it's still feasible. THINK PEOPLE. Crowds attending concerts are HIGHLY TARGETED PEOPLE, THEY PAID ($20-$200) FOR A CONCERT TICKET, THEY LOVE THEIR BAND,TEAM,etc. AND WILL DEFINATELY VISIT a website thanking them and giving them a "FREE" gift, if they fill out 3 input fields.

There's nothing not to believe about this, #2 the OP said he was placing these on cars, How long would it take you to lift up a windshield wiper and place a flyer there? How much time do you need to do that 3 minutes? 4 minutes or a couple of seconds?

The conversion rates will definately be off the roof because like I mentioned earlier. THIS IS HIGHLY TARGETED TRAFFIC.

The only way you can screw this up is by having a weak ass landing page, and weak ass Adcopy on your flyer.

BONUS: Another way you can ensure that people visit the site is by placing a code on the flyer ex.CBEFG and on the flyer tell people that 20 Lucky event goers will win back the cost of the admission. They must visit the website fill out the cpa offer, then enter the flyer code to see if they 'WON'!....Make sure your webhost can handle the traffic you will be getting.

I live 20 min from a major concert stadium. Only issue is finding cheap fliers

Don't forget about the mobile market either, some people will visit the site on their "Smart-phone" and you may have a conversion before you even know it.

I don't actually live "near" a stadium but I live in NYC where every stadium is easy to get to, this thread opened my eyes to some great ideas of my own. Thanks and bookmarked!

The method is genius and it's probably the method folks use when I get those flyers on my car. But you also have to remember we live in a world where folks have CELLPHONES, while y'all talking about ppl going home to do it - HUH?! LOL! Would you if you had mobile with Internet service? NO!

And chances are if they attended the event then they like the band and anything related to it. A free gift "from" the band, oh yeah of course! It's like Oprah or Lopez giving away freebies to those who attend. Only you aren't the actual band, but the fans don't know that. So, responses will skyrocket!

The fans feel appreciated by their band and feel that the band is giving back to them for their continuous support. And you say not too many will jump on it? PLEEASE, YES THEY WILL. Like hotcakes! Forget rushing home to use the Internet, they do it from their mobile. It wouldn't surprise me if those without mobiles asked a friend to use their mobile to do it.

Method seems good. Idea is good. I'm sure it would convert. Don't see why it wouldn't. Your already targeting the people that are at least a little bit interested. But your stats seem a little high if you ask me. Anyway thanks for the share!

I don't think the numbers work especially if you consider printing costs. 60,000 fliers is the equivalent of 12 cartons of copy paper. You got a hell of a deal with your friend delivering that type of volume. For anybody printing on their own the cost would be near $3000. Am I missing something because this is an interesting twist.

Guys.. why wonder if those numbers are real or not. Thats a waste of time and definitely not the main focus of the story.
