I've read the book and it's very, very good. I'm properly grateful for this share hence typing this crap and not just hitting thanks! Thank you very much! :D

Don't bother with this shit. Its missing a video 6.2 and also this guy says, managing money is more important than amount you make. BS.

If you can't make a lot of it in the first place, it doesn't matter how good you are at managing. No good being able to manage cheese when you don't have any cheese to manage. lol

To be able to play this game you really need an income of about $7K a month. 55% he says is for necessities and then 45% goes into other jars. So if you have $3.5K in necessities for month then you need another 45% on top to place in the other jars. Meaning this formula is for folks who have anywhere from $5K to $8K income per month.

Better to concentrate on first making that kind of bread in passive income every month, before you get cute with which jars you are gonna put it in.

He wants to teach folks the habit of managing money first, before they actually have any money. You won't get rich listening to this guy.

But you will get rich if you concentrate on making the big bread.

BS.

im going to disagree here strongly. The biggest majority of independently wealthy people in the world are frugal and utilize a plan like this in some fashion.

Yeah, i know. Thats why i said you have to have money to use this system in the first place. You have to have money in order to manage it.

You don't start off with using this system when you have no money.

But i guess "poor people" are not his target market.

I'd say has some interest, but not a method for people with no money.

Go and learn to generate it first.

To many managers - not enough wealth generators.

people with no money are typically the people that dont manage the money they do have very well. Id say if someone's broke then they could do a lot worse than using the jar or envelope system to put some perspective on the things they spend their money on.

Agree, folks should have a perspective.

The first one is to learn how to make loads of money.

The second is to learn how to look after it.

No by "persepctive" im talking about what people spend their money on and how they could manage it better. In fact...unless you know how to manage money theres no way in hell that 99% of people would ever "make loads of money" in the first place.

/conv.

Exactly, I agree with you. You don't need to be making "loads" of money to implement a Money-Management System. The whole point of it is to actually to start small and develop the HABIT of managing your money correctly.

It's all about Developing Productive HABITS.

I became a millionaire and didn't know jack shit about managing money. But i most certainly do now.

you are a lucky minority friend....and what works for you doesn't work for everyone. Im glad youve become successful, but lets not flame the people that want to learn how to manage money better. The OP gave a solid reference to something that could help people....lets stop 'tarding up his thread.

well, well, well, the issue with money, is you need money to make money,, and once you have the money, then that money makes money, hence rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

If all had the same money ( say money = talents ) - then I wonder how the ecnomics of the world have been.

Can you explain how the poor get poorer?

Thanks for the excellent share. Managing money and managing your life in general is one of the most important keys to success. If these guys don't understand that...why argue with people that are doomed for failure?

It is like telling to someone to go fight with a professional fighter because you already visualized yourself winning the match and you did yoga a few days, so you are prepared....

you need money to make money,

Income = %Consumption + %Savings.
You save to invest in assets

These are the basics of money management.

Once you have integrated them, no matter how much money you have on hand, you are good to go.

Can you explain how the poor get poorer?

Cause rich have multiple sources of (passive) income, poors only rely on their paychecks at the end of each month to pay their bills.

They don't save to invest (or at least don't know how to invest), they save for their retirement.

The safest and easiest way to be rich is to constantly buy assets that will generate positive cash flow every month. How to buy them? You have to learn.
