If you don't know what an authority site is, and how it works with the search engines or how they display the results . . . go back to the Downloads section. :)

How to build an automatic authority site

    Landing Page
    |
    |_Membership site
    |
    |_AutoBlog
    |
    |_Video Scraper
    |
    |_Image Scraper
    |
    |_FAQ
    |
    |_Glossary/Wiki
    |
    |_Forum
    |
    |_Link Exchange

85% of this can be automated, and automaticall deployed. For the rest (FAQ/Glossary or Wiki) you need to pay someone a few bucks to do something good or do it yourself.

Then you'll need to do or buy:
    -Directory Submissions
    -Social BookMark Submissions
-Run Your Keyword through SEO Elite and email people offering a link to the quick and easy link exchange script
    -Blog Commenting
    -Trackback Pinging
-Buy or borrow some In Bound links

    Wait a bit.

Should be recognized as an authority site in the niche by google and display accordingly in the SERPS.

This is a 3 month to 1 year strategy. Continue building to get the traffic and opt-ins/sales.

Build the sites around products or services related to a niche. For example:
    Basketball Shoes
    Basketball Jersey
    Basketball Whatever

One unique site for each term.

Half a year to market (not niche or sub market) domination. If you've done it right, of course and it doesn't look 100% machine generated (some is ok ... It's "web 2.0" afterall)

Dont' put everything (video/articles/images) together on the same page like with YACG or RSSGM. Seperate it out into different directories, with a link to each from the Landing Page.

Alternatively, you can probably build the deployment platform, call it "Authority Ahnillator" or something else ridiculous like that, launch a WSO and make a good amount of cash in hand. If you do that, just give me a copy so I can compare it to what I do.

    Speaking of FAQ's . ..

Is there anything like a Yahoo Answers scraper to build an FAQ Page?

That would be a cool little utility.

There's ico-content floating around on the forum that could help you. I've also heard of instadigi which does something similar.

These tools insert content from yahoo answers in forums but with some effort, I think these can be modified to achieve the FAQ functionality ..

    Thanks.

For my purposes (i.e. trying to go quality crazy rather than quantity crazy) I can just manually copy and paste stuff, and it's probably not worth my time to try and code something.

Would be a cool feature for a content generator, though.
