[GET] Reveal "like" iframe tutorial.

Great share!!

I'm having a bit of trouble though.

I think I'm stuck in the last step, where I need to put the /home/... i put it as it shows in my hosting plan, and i get an error when I try going to the site (or the "Welcome!" tab in the FB page:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '/' in /home/content/a/a/a/MYUSERNAME/html/sites/MYFOLDER/iframe/fb_init.php on line 7

do you know what could be the problem? :/

thanks!

small issue for me
even if i liked the page i still see the landing page :(

Haven't been active lately but i'm back! :D

Good opportunity, though I suppose we can't use this setup for CPA? :P (sorry for asking if it's stupid, but I don't have experience with FB).

Thanks, mate!

You could definately use this for CPA mate just make a plan take action and test until you get something magical happening.

Thanks for the share!
Thank you for sharing :-)
You're more than welcome :D

Demo please!!
Could I get demo please? Otherwise nice share!
Also interest for demo, thanks.

Get rid of the "/" before home and it should work! :D
If not feel free to PM me :)

Have you setup everything correctly?
I just followed my steps and setup the demo above a minute ago so might need to have a look at the code and see what's missing.

PM me if you're still stuck. :)

Two issues.

1) Required: SSL Cert by October 1, 2011 (plain HTML not enough)

2) How to implement Like Button (search, cannot post links) - so that user can click on my custom-provided button to change page?

2)What exactly do you mean I don't understand could you please explain?

Hey man! You really complicated thing:) Still, it's a nice share if you want to be in control of the whole html page, which most of BHters do. Rep given;)

For those who only want to access to fan and non-fan html-body part of code, here is a simpler way of doing it.

1. Go to:
Code:
http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=190322544333196

2. Add the app to your page.

3. Go to your page and click on custom tab and just paste in html code. Completely white label, no aff. links.

Hi! Great tutorial thanks.
I'm just struggling with the scrollbars, which are showing in spite of them being switched off in the app settings and in spite of the size being set to automatically adjust.

Has anyone got any solution for it, or has anyone managed to apply the FB.Canvas.setSize() function to this app?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks already!

I have been busily working to get these iframes created right. Kudos to the OP Fruity_Looper by way, his instructions were dead on. In any case the optimal size of the iFrame is a mere 520 pixels wide by 800 pixels tall, not much real estate but sufficient for an ad to get someone to click on.

By the way the Facebook interface is anything but intuitive but I did get the pages to work for a customer's site.

Had the same issue and the Canvas page was set wrong for me. Check App settings, Facebook Integration and I had set the wrong Tab URL

This one still works?

I can't see anything when I go to http://www.mydomaim.com/iframe/ what is that?
