Hi there,
I used this method months ago, but now stumbled upon it again and thought to share it here:
1. Do a search for Keyword + "/trackback/" "Powered By Wordpress"
2. Extract the results and save this for later use.
3. Write a blogpost on the site that shall get the relevant backlinks
4. Write some text like: "What's up in the "Keyword" Scene today?"
In the text itself write something that you surfed along the web to search the hottest informations about "Keyword" and want to present now your best findings. Praise the websites as great ressources, worth look and bookmark if interested in "Keyword".
5. Paste the links that you gathered in 2.
6. Before you publish, be sure that your blog is configured to ping linked resources.
