Unless they're de-indexed which happened to me with some services, not saying yours would be. But for the newbs there is that risk.

For some weird reasons, my site is coming back after getting hit by penguin. Let's hope it's continuing to improve!!
 
I am confused with my site this time,,,,,visitors increasing but pageviews decreasing......huh.
 
Let those penguins coming, 4.0 or 3.92 - wtf the difference :)
 
panda isn't much to worry about - all you have to do is not spin content.

penguin is a whole different story

We've had many properties hit by Panda even though we don't spin content and we only work with writers who write for about, examiner and other huge online publications. I've read each article we post and they are all helpful, unique content. Still - many of our sites got hit multiple times.

On the other hand, I run a personal site which has 0% unique content (expect the user comments which aren't that many compared to # of pages) - it's all a collection of the content from other sites, all properly attributed. This personal sites has only gained through all the panda and penguin updates. It ranks #1 for keywords that bring a hundred people per day each, beating the sites from which the content is taken.

I seriously doubt Google is able to tell what is good content and what is not, with substantial confidence. They just penalized most affiliate marketers in the highly profitable spaces.
 
I love how they always say that, 0.7% will be affected. It's more like 25%, seems that way.

I hear you and am in the same situation. All content original, hand built links etc... I've got 3 sites in the exact same niche... 2 of them are good to great content, one not so great content. Of the 3, one hasn't been touched at all... the look and feel of this site is by far the best.

I'm wondering if these sites weren't hit by some kind of manual human review? Any thoughts on that - how would you say the L&F and User Experience is on your site that has reposted content vs the sites that were hit?
