I just received my review copy from the seller. The topic that I asked him to write about was "How Drumming Helps Develop a Child's Learning Capabilities". Here is the article I received:
How Drumming Helps Develop a Child's Learning Capabilities
As a parent you want to do all you possibly can to aid in your child’s learning. Their learning development starts from the moment they are born, so there are plenty of opportunities to take an active role. One learning technique that is really starting to catch on is to teach your child the basics of drumming. What is fantastic is that this can be taught to toddlers, and even younger children, allowing for the rich learning experience to begin early in life.
Musical Development Plays a Large Part
We all know how important it is to teach your toddler basics such as the alphabet, counting from one to 10, colors, and shapes, but did you know that musical development is just as important to their growth? And what’s even better is that kids often welcome this kind of learning, as it’s more of a fun activity or game.
All you have to do is peek into any toddler room at the daycare while a song is being played or sung and you'll see they are all focused and getting involved. Toddlers absolutely love everything to do with music, and drumming is no exception.
This is the perfect opportunity for parents and teachers to encourage self-expression through music. It is a healthy and creative way to share how they feel and think. It also encourages them to tap into these emotions.
As well, this may be their first introduction to "structure". Think about it, songs and beats have structure. Your child must recognize that structure/pattern and play along with it. It requires them to focus, listen, and use their memory. These are all important skills to hone.
Later Down the Road
What’s particularly interesting is that learning how to play the drum early on actually reinforces a skill they will need as they learn to read. When they are playing the drum they are learning to distinguish the difference between various sounds. This same skill will be needed as they learn to read. They need to listen to different sounds, recognize the differences, and then repeat them.
There has even been some talk that if a child learns how to play an instrument while they are young and they are dyslexic, it will help them later on.
Of course music contains beats, so once your child starts to "count" the beats and pay attention to that aspect, they are also working on their counting and patterns.
Stop and Think
It’s clear that there are a number of great benefits in your child learning how to play the drums. Not just in the early years but moving forward in their life.
So the next time you find yourself tempted to ask your child to quiet down, and stop banging on those drums, remember they are simply expressing themselves in a creative and healthy way. This is definitely something that will help them as they grow and continue to learn about the world around them. Instead you can join in with them, and share in the learning experience.
TAT on the article was 72 hours. As you can see, the above article is free of spelling and grammatical errors. The article flows well and keeps the reader engaged. This topic is particularly challenging to write about when there's a 500 word limit, so I do have to give the seller props for being able to stay within the word limit. It would have been interesting to see the true depth of his research if this were to have been a 1,500+ word article.
In any event, I have no complaints whatsoever. Around the $3/100 word price point that the seller is charging, you will find that every seller on the marketplace will give you an article that's free of spelling and grammatical errors. However, it's hard to find someone in this price range that can write a well-flowing, engaging article. Based on this small sample, I do believe that this seller has the ability to do just that. As a result, I can give this service my recommendation.
