Get PR 1-6 links with anchor text

Thanks eng152 for the tip. Seems to be a good way of link building.

any tools to generate and check the forum thread PR??

Get Seoquake, it is free and it has a lot of utilities. When installed:
First in google make a search of the Joomla (or other forum) pages indexed, set Google to show you 100 results.
With Seoquake order the results by Pagerank.
Usually the pages with higher PR are useless (homepage, cathegories,...). Be carefull because a lot of them will have a lot of answers. If you add your answer will be on second page and this one hasn't any PR. (I don't know if I am explaining well so ask me if I don't).

Don't mean to be a killjoy but the only reason why these threads have high PR is because when PR was updated half a year ago or however long it was, they were close to the front page. These links don't have much value now. All they have is an out of date PR.

posible but hate to say that it still should work a year old post would have already gone through 2-4 google pr updates, so why would it still have high pr? The pr in forums is RARELY based on its position its normally based on backlinks from sites talking about that topic.

I mean on inactive forums ya the top articles may have some pr from the top domain but, most forums are actively moving and not many get bumped from 1 year old posts, thought it begs the question wouldnt 10 1+year old posts getting bumped piss off and alert the forum owners/users

Most of times, mods are banning users who bumped old threads. They know this is a spam for them.:pcguru:
