I saw this some where so I thought I would share this method for verifying a US Paypal account.

quote

US Paypal accounts have to be verified by a checking account.

So I use a company called NetSpend to create a checking account to verify my paypal accounts. They even will send you a debt card that can be used like a atm or debt card (more on that in a minute)

Procedure:
-Sign up with NetSpend
-Go the the "Verify Paypal" tab and copy down the information
-Sign up with Paypal
-Put the information in from NetSpend to verify the account
-In a day or so Paypal will make a deposit into your account
-Enter the depost amount(s) in Paypal
-Now you have a verified account

Note:
You don't have to submit real info, it just has to be realistic and it usually take ~15-20 days for NetSpend to suspend your account, more than enough time to get verified by paypal.

Also, consider these accounts disposable. Anything happens to accounts created this way, its really hard to get them in the right again.

Good luck!
