Get past gatekeeper

I dont do client work anymore so I dont mind sharing one of the best things I've ever learned. Not sure if this is common knowledge at this point, but when I started it definitely wasnt.

To get past a gatekeeper at say a doctors office, accounting firm, ect. Call in. Helps if you are a girl. Ask if the doctor is in. Say you've got some information to send in (you can use your own creativity on how to word this), then ask for the fax # to fax it in.

Send in your fax with your sales pitch. 80% of the time the business owner will get this from the secretary and you're foot is in.

Haha if they work with paper.
Paper pushers like insurance agents. Doctors too. Sales Departments.

But you're right that it is less common.

Interesting, never heard this one before. Might have to try it sometime haha
