If you're doing blackhat stuff and are making money, but don't want to disclose your personal info (ssn, name, addr., etc.), how can you get paid? For example, this applies to CPA networks, other affiliate networks like clickbank, amazon, ebay.

I'd think it might be a good idea to lose some money to the middleman to not risk getting caught when they pay you and then find out what you've been doing and have all your info at hand.

Blackhat is not illegal so I don't know why you would want to hide unless you want to avoid paying taxes.

Even if you get caught doing blackhat techniques by the networks, the middleman won't get paid either. So I think it's money and time wasted going this route.

Also if you do have a middleman, it would have to be someone you can completely trust. You will be at the mercy of this person to receive your money. For me it would be too much of a risk.

popcrdom29, there are lots of techniques that can be classified as blackhat; some legal, some not. It's unprofessional to make such a bold statement as saying that blackhat is legal.

Fireboltgirl, nice contribution.

It really depends on what you define as blackhat and how black you go ;-)

Well obviously since I'm concerned with giving out my personal info, that means I may be doing something that's against the program's terms, which means they could sue me in the worst case. That is why I'm looking for a way to get my money without giving out personal info.

Getting paid and remaining anonymous is getting harder by the day. This is a process that was started by the War on Terror and it will not be reversed. Ever. So the solutions remaining are becoming scarcer and costlier.

Meaning it's only worth the trouble if the income sufficient to cover the cost. Middleman strategy certainly boils down to the integrity of the person involved, ending in a controversy - you must know him well enough to put your trust in, yet he must know next to nothing about you, so he won't be able to finger you. That's hard to come by...

Traditional ways would be setting up a company in a jurisdiction still honouring anonymity. And make sure you take a look at the full package - including the bank account setup, its online usability and use of a prepaid credit card.

Alternatively check on the CPA networks' means of paying out the commissions. If you find any of them going for some alternative electronic money - that may be your way out - in case this payment system allows you to remain somewhat anonymous.

Setup a company in a favorable jurisdiction with nominee directors and a solid bank account w/card. Register that company with an e-currency site ex: Liberty Reserve (based in Costa Rica) and register a personal account with Lib. Res. too. Transfer funds from your company bank account to company Lib. Res. account and then transfer funds from company Lib. Res. account to personal account. This should work well enough for now.

Happy offshoring!
