Yeah me too.I have only level 1 referrals and thats it non of them has gotten any refferals for themself

Also, people on CashTexts that have signed up on both sites say that TCN doesn't have a clear compensation plan and that they're being spammed with affiliate links to other programs.

How is it a ponzi scheme? You're not giving them any money. They only make money if an advertiser pays them to send out texts. No advertisers=No money.

I am a member of this service, (Damn I wish I had thought of posting it here first).
Here is what the deal is.
Text marketing is as difficult for marketers because of the can spam act as it is for the rest of us. Cash Texts is a startup that is building a network of people who agree to receive up to 5 text messages a day, for a nickle each, but you get paid 5 levels deep for referrals on a reducing scale, see the post above.
When they get 100,000 members a lot of new advertisers open up to them, and they are trying to get there as fast as possible.
They are going to be, if successful, is sort of a traveling text based groupon. Imagine that as you travel around the city, a nearby restaurant you have never been in to texts you and offers you a special deal to come in and try their restaurant. The restaurant can fill in a slow day by offering specials, yada yada, yada, you know the pitch.
Their big ace in the hole is that even after they pay everyone in the downline, the message can be delivered to the end user, (a double opt in subscriber, who has indicated their interests, thus are very targeted) for 20 cents per ad.
This is incredibly cheap cost for ad delivery in the industry apparently.
The first payments go out this month. They pay by paypal and you must build up a $5.00 balance before getting paid.
You only have to receive the messages too, you do not even have to read them. You are limited to 5 each day, usually you will get less, at least as the company starts up.
In time, if you continuously recruit, the potential is massive.
You can also make money from advertisers that you recommend, and the revenue is recurring as long as you keep you account open. You get paid each month for all the advertisers that you recommend spends per month, and for the messages received in your downline.
There are absolutely no costs of any kind, a sure sign that it is not a scam. They do not want any money from you at all. They want to give you money.
Advertisers can target their ad recipients by interests and area code making it a great platform for local advertisers. Or it will when enough people come on board.
I simply stuck a page up on one of my sites telling my visitors about it,

and already I have 40 people in my downline.
So far I have made very little money, but the service is literally just getting started.
The website is very well done and tracks your referrals, and the entire downline as well as earnings, so there is full transparency.
The only way this is a scam is if they do not pay us the money we earn. Only time will tell about that but if it costs nothing to sign up for it, I figured give them the benefit of the doubt. Not paying will gut their subscriber list, and I don;t see how it would be a profitable idea to do that after all the work to get it started.
My thought process in this. Since I have a website, and people do sign up, why not see where it goes? In two years this company might be an advertising powerhouse, and i may have hundreds , or even thousands of people in my downline. In 5 years who knows? Think long tern here, it costs nothing if you have unlimited text on your phone, and you can ignore the messages.

Sorry they don't use PayPal, you will receive a prepaid money card. All that you need in order tor receive your card is an SSN. The prepaid money card is not sent to any P.O Boxes. They say that they have optimized the referral line, at the maximum of 5 texts per day you are expected to pull $4.50 per person, that is .03 per text. This is also supposed to help in teamwork since everyone is making the same amount of money. I have received 3 cash texts since I first found this thread. They say that they need to push for 100k members to be appealing to major advertisers. Cash texts is offering 3 payment streams, you can sign up as a member and receive at maximum 4.50 per month, refer other members and have them join your team which is at maximum 4.50 per person per month and refer advertisers where if they join, you will receive 10 percent of the advertisers budget for the life of the advertiser membership. As an example, if an advertiser wanted to text the entire group, current price to text the whole group is $9000.00; you will receive 10 percent of that, if next month the advertiser decides to spend 4k you will get your 10 percent. That is alot of money monthly if you are doing something local. This marketing concept has been explained as more than a simple MLM or GPTC type of business. We are a crowdsource and very dependent upon each other for members and advertisers. If you are an IM, you can get listed and advertise your affiliate link. I followed a text that went straight to a gift card site, you know..."get a 25.00 card for 8.00" or what have you. That could be the 4th stream of income. These members are incentivised! We want to receive the texts and we want to support the advertisers so that we can continue to receive the texts! I think if Coca Cola sent me a check every month, I would either go to more Coke sponsored events or buy more Sprite. Its kind of brilliant if you think about it. These guys have an audience that wants to be advertised to! There are members who are actually are begging for text messages right now.

Currently only people in the US are getting texts, but they plan on entering the UK and Canada soon.
HOWEVER, anyone from any country can join and earn money with this.
I agree with everything you said, except they don't pay by Paypal like mrjefferson said. Paypal doesn't allow MLM's to pay their affiliates through their system.
You will get paid through a prepaid debit card system called "Global Cash Card".
At first I didn't like the new compensation plan, but I do agree that it will pay off in the long run.
If you're mobile verified though, you still get $0.05/text so its still $7.50/month and $0.03 on every of your 5 levels.
Also, not only do you get 10% from your advertiser referrals, you get 0.5% from every advertiser that is referred by anyone in your 5-level downline.
Be patient, the company is only 3 months old. Also, don't forget to set your favorites (not more than 80% or you won't get texts).
National advertisers are waiting until we hit 100K mobile verified people before they start advertising with CT. The texts that have already been sent out were mostly sent by smaller businesses to people in their area so they were highly targeted and not sent to everyone.

Actually not at all. Look in your account and see how many messages have been sent to you and your downline. If there are no messages that fit your profile, they will not send one out. They are not just broadcasting to everyone, they are trying to target the audience so the advertiser gets targeted traffic.
Look at your account and you will see exactly where you stand.
This is going to be a slow start, until we get the community up and running.
It s not costing you a dime, either. So what if it is slow to start and not creating gobs of cash money?
It is a free, albeit small, recurring revenue stream.
That boils down to "free recurring revenue."
I will take as many of these streams as I can find, and they can be as small as they want to.

We had a recent phone conference, CashTexts does not expect to start the maximum texts per day until Feburary. I honestly believe that they are doing a great job. I would not want them to rush this. I want that money to flow properly. The main thing is to join up! If you read my posts to the thread from earlier, I was very wary of this plan. The only thing that I place in jeapordy is my time for promoting my affilate link. This is an actual business that you can start for free. All you have to do is tell your family and friends and get them to join. If you are a regular at the neighborhood bar, get them to advertise their Superbowl wing specials. We are at about 30k people and need 100k. We are missing 70k people and I wish I could pull in that massive amount of people so that I can freakin retire on an island somewhere because everyone I referred is referring. I say join up now and see if you like it, see if you can monetize it. I mean, we are on BlackHat talking about "Well, I don't know about that.." This whole forum was built for freakin risk takers aka entrepreneurs. Last time I checked, a method that had zero risk, yielded 100% profit at zero investment = guud!
