Its been a little while since i gave anything back to the forum and as some of you know ive been learning to code for a little while now, so here is my next creation:

    Easy Article Grabber

    • This tool allows you to scrape ezine for an unlimited number of keywords
    • Preview and save each article individually
    • bulk save all articles

I would suggest not having hundreds of keywords in your search simply because ezine puts up a captcha if you hit the site too much in a short space of time.

However that said i have managed to scrape and download around 500 articles in one go without issue though my suggestion is to keep it at around the 150 article mark to be on the safe side.

The tool scrapes a maximum of 25 articles per keyword and by keyword that could mean a single word keyword or a combination of two keywords

    eg keyword 1 - blackhat
    keyword 2 - blackhat seo

    you get the idea anyway.

Im working on an article rewrite function at the moment however that wont be released until i can afford to buy the licence for the thesauraus library (and no im not after donations nor is this a pre sales thread the rewrite function will be released for free too!)

Virus total is currently down so if someone could do the honors and upload it that would be great if not ill do it later when i get a chance, please not occasionally some programs show a false positive on virus total (usually only one) so dont get all excited if it does, i can assure you its virus free.

This tool requires .net framework 4.0 which i forgot to mention earlier.

    Code:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?ai81f5wdi0495f1
    Code:
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=12043HOZ

forgot to mention its not multi-threaded yet but if there is enough interest i will multi-thead it as well as add the rewrite function.

Nice little tool. Just tested it. I'm starting out a new venture where I'll need quite a few articles. Would love to see multi threading and rewrite support.

    Thanks again.

    thanks guys,
ref the comment roknimam made about the links, the tool does strip links from the articles but only if they are html links, not if the link forms part of the article body, ie it strips the html links and leaves the anchor text.
thanks for the VT too roknimam cheers bud

Does this tool just basically copy the articles on ezine? Or does it scrape its content? :) Thanks! :)
