Get more ******** .gov .edu backlinks from google !

Ok, i searched the forum for this simple trick. Didn't find it.
search yahoo and google for:

how does this work? how can I get the backlinks from those sites?

And that shows edu & gov sites who are using google search ... what am I missing?

yeh wondered when I saw the query...and even went to try it to see if it's something i 'missed' too...shows the sites using the search....not sure how helpful that is really. Most use google search anyhow so how is this list pruned I guess would be just as good a question as what to do with these newfound search results....?

How do we implement this ?

I'm guessing you google your site on those .edu sites and then google recognized that you've made that querie and then indexes it in google as a .gov backlink.

Yea my explanation isn't very good, but it's sort of like when you google warez and stuff on google and like torrent sites and rapidlibrary links always come up

Using Google custom search on sites used to work VERY well to generate backlinks. Trouble is to do it below the radar means also building links to your competitors, otherwise you have to use a site:yourdomain.xxx keyword in the search box and then point links at the dynamic URL on the authorative domain. I did this for a long time and then suddenly Google stopped indexing them or they stopped passing weight.

It's deffo still worth a try but you might find that G is filtering these kind of links from their own SERPS now.

Not sure if this is what he is getting at, but edu and gov sites that allow you to post a comment and you can include your link can be gold! For google it would have to be ********.

There is a tool you could use, CommentKahuna and tell it to filter out the nofollow and select what kind of site format like wordpress for example. then search for site:*.gov

What you get from commentkahuna is .gov and .edu websites you possibly can post on, filtered. So you may get a hanful of results, and maybe a few of them are actually sites you can post on. It isn't 100% but it cuts the search process down. You could also insert your keyword queary into the search to narrow it down by niche.

Since you are only targting edu or gov sites, your results are limited. But if you find an edu or gov site with a decent pagerank, and you can post a comment and drop off your link ********, then you hit the jackpot.

Not saying it will instantly make you #1, but it is something to have under your belt!
