Long story short, an Instagram downloader capable of downloading both photos and videos for Desktop (Windows only).

NOTE: There might be false positives detections in my software due to the way it's developed.

– Fixed a bug that caused single video downloader not to work after using single photo downloader
– Added a new feature to stop after certain amount of downloads
– Added a new feature to skip posts with less/more than certain amount of likes/comments
– Improved the single user posts downloading by a lot
– Start button will be disabled after starting to download
– Stop button will be disabled before starting to download
– Fixed a rare case when the software doesn’t scrape the caption of a single video
– Fixed a bug in the logs showing that the caption has been downloaded (even when it’s not enabled)

I think you just came up with a perfect way of getting the contents that are available on Instagram. Sometimes I always want to download good pics and even videos but I am not able to. Be sure that you have done proper marketing in regards to this application and you will see the response that you will get. I am so sure that it will be a positive response. Make sure that you also come up with a mobile app version of it too.

OP can you explain the capabilities of your program? I've already got something I use so I'm trying to compare. When you pick the option "single user", your program can mass download photos? Also whats the purpose of stats like and comments section?

The stats are shown only when you download single photo or video. Yes, my software will download all user's photos. Unless you set a limit.

like date/time of the media and the number of views for videos
 
The downloader has been working fluently with no issues for the past few days. Let me know if you have any issues or suggestions.

I've made several updates since this post and I hope people find this software useful. My next feature would probably be ability to download photos off private users (you still will have to be following them).
