Just submitted my site to it after waiting 6 days now for a blogger blog to get indexed, will let you know how I get on :) thanks for the tip.

Another hint, submit your website to hxxp://www.digg.com and hxxp://www.propeller.com and then in Digg make a comment on a post which is over two years old. You can enter in your url (Even though Digg does not accept HTML in the comments textarea) and your link will appear

Jumptags always works for me as does Tip'd (if you have a finance/money site) and another great thing with Jumptags is you can also submit your logo or other picture or graphic separately so you can get 2 for the price of 1.
 
is digg or jumptags faster?
Or is it a matter of not being able to stay on the first page on digg?
 
Actually for me, Tip'd is the fastest but I am guessing (and it is only a guess) that certain bookmarking sites do better with certain niches. For example, my finance sites bookmarked in propeller never appear but my gardening sites in propeller always appear on the first page.

As I said, you have to test and learn and see what works for you but going back to the original (and excellent info) post, Jumptags is a great way to start.
 
kwoff also works great, there might be a delay around 15 minutes (as the site states) but you'd get your url in the front page of it.

If the sites don't work for you try to ping the bookmark,

Or why not, bookmark your url to several social bookmark sites.
 
This thing with jumptags worked two years ago, when it was ********, now jumptags and digg are nofollow and Google will see your link but won't index it ass fast as it use too. I stooped using jumptags about a year ago when their login page was crashing firefox.
 
anybody know for sure if jumptags is ******** or not?
also, how could it be better otherwise? any ideas on how jumptag could be maximized?
 
all these social bookmarking sites now use nofollow. f'ing lame
