[GET] Huge SEO Footprints Collections

What are these ? sorry I'm new to SEO. Can someone explain me for what it is use for please.
Thank you in advance

Hi, this is a totally awesome contribution by the OP. I am trying to get ramped up on Scrapebox so this will help tons.

I also have a question on footprints, but not the typical "what is it?"

For leaving blog comments, I assume that the URL you have to provide your software is the URL of the post on which to leave the comment? (as opposed to, say, the URL of the homepage?)

Also, for creating forum profiles, submitting articles to article directories, and similar, do the softwares have to receive the URL of the registration page for that site?

I ask because looking at these footprints, I can see how they will help you find a page created by a particular CMS, but I have to think that finding any page on that domain is not enough for the software. For example, if I find a page with the footprint "powered by vanilla", do I need to identify the default registration permalink in order for the software to be able to do something with it?

Another example of a footprint left here is

"powered by DedeEIMS" inurl:guestbook.php

If I do a search for that, one site I find is [not allowed to post url, sorry, doesn't work no matter how much I try to modify it]

On that page, I can't really tell what is going on, but I do see a "register" link at top and it would seem I have to register here before being a leave a comment in the guestbook.
So, having identified domains using using this cms to create guestbooks, would I then add a "dopost=regnew" (which is what this site uses?) to the footprint to ID the registration pages?

(and by the way, that page seems to be dead, which I don't understand, because I do see spammy comments being placed even today).

Going back to my vanilla example, how does a software like GSA SER work, if I asked it to create forum profiles, and let it do its own search without providing my own list of sites? Would it identify a site using Vanilla as the CMS, and then identify the registration page, and then register, and then confirm the registration, and create a profile, all in an automated fashion?

Thanks in advance for any replies, I would appreciate a short discussion/explanation on these topics :)
