Hello ladies and gentlemen!

Here is a small technique that I use to get high PR do-follow wiki links. It's free and a good alternative if you can't yet afford a high PR private network; however, you need to spend in time what you can't spend in cash. :p

Put your own twist and you will have a killer method to get high PR do-follow wiki links!

1. Find a SEO company. Google the appropriate keywords and you will have tons of results. The idea is to find a SEO company that has used wiki backlinks to boost its ranking -- which, surprisingly, is not that uncommon.

2. Use your favorite tool to get all the backlinks from the SEO company. I used to get them with SEO SpyGlass, but since the closure of YSE, you might want to try another tool. Don't forget to collect information like the PR, the OBL or the link rel (do-follow or no-follow).

To help you, you can choose to keep URLs that contain the word "wiki". Useful when you have thousands of backlinks to check.

What have we got? Almost 500 wiki backlinks!

3. Go to the wiki pages and insert your link. Please, don't be greedy and don't delete everything for your own personal profit. Don't forget to use a proxy!

BONUS TIP 1 -- Usually, you will see that several backlinks already have been inserted by some marketers. Now think about it, would they limit themselves to one wiki page?

Answer: no. :p They probably posted their backlink on multiple wiki pages.

So repeat the same process you did with the SEO company. Get all the backlinks that are already on the wiki pages and find if they are on other wiki websites.

BONUS TIP 2 -- Remember that I said that you need to spend in time what you can't spend in cash? Well, that is because your backlinks will probably get deleted after some time by a) a moderator b) a greedy marketer.

To keep tabs on your backlinks, load all your wiki pages in a tool like LinkAssistant. Basically, it allows you to verify if your backlinks are still there. After a while, you get to know which wiki pages are abandoned, which are populated by greedy marketers, which are hidden gems, etc.

I really liked the idea. Since im very new to seo, i am planing to buy a seo software.
I am thinking between GSA or scrabebox.
Which one of them have better backlink checker? Or may be another better software. So i can use this guide.
