[GET] GSA Website Submitter Email Verification Bot / Checks Gmail Acct For Activation Link

This program is to be used in conjunction with GSA Website Submitter. When you use GSA Website Submitter it sends a bunch of emails to your inbox that need to be manually clicked. Well nobody in their right mind wants to go through and click 2,000 email links.

This program will login to a gmail inbox and click the links for you. You must know that it will delete emails once they emails have been processed. It will delete ALL emails in the inbox and only parse out the confirmation links for the valid directory submission emails.

You will need to install Python which is a free download. The Python .py file is what you will be using in this archive. Read the "readme.txt" for instructions. It's a no brainer application... Enjoy!

Install Python?? Where in your webhost or on my computer ?? In any condition I don't think it is going to be useful to people who don't understand technology.

I run window's and linux OS's and installing and making run programming softwares is real headache.

Have you heard of MOWES? Will it work with that? I have it installed on my windows OS and works like a charm for testing websites/scripts without the need of any hosting accounts.

It's very simple... Just follow the easy steps below...

1:
Download Python.

2:
Accept all defaults during the install.


3:
Download and extract the archive below.

4:
Edit config.ini with a text editor. Input your gmail username/password. Save file.


5:
Double click the GSAEmail.py file


6:
Boom you are done... It's off an running!


You don't need to really do anything special. You just need Python installed to run the .py file. There is no programming/coding knowledge needed. This is "potatohead style" bro. :bigok:

and its suppose to be a website submitter? i get through all of the process but when i run it just open and closes....
 
It's not a website submitter... It checks the emails that are sent to you when you use GSA Website Submitter. GSA Website Submitter is a website directory submission tool.

The tool I have provided is a supplement to the tool. It verifies the emails for you. It's nothing major, just very useful if you need it.

I just realized the new version of GSA has an email verification funtion under the "tools" menu, but I tried it and I think it's a bit borked.

If you downloaded the above program on or before 12/2/2009 please download it again using the link in the OP. The initial version wasn't catching all the verification emails. Apparently this new version will work better.

The .py file has changed and I have updated the OP. Anybody using this script please download the new files. It will now parse ALL emails in the inbox and follow ALL links.

It runs a bit slower but it will be more effective this way.

Hey op,, do you know where I can get the GSA website submitter on here, I haven't been able to find it? That would be great.. Thanks for this email verification tool..It works GREAT :)
 
Nah I sure don't know where you can get it. To be honest it's probably worth the $146/year for it. They constantly update the DB and such. Probably going to be hard to find a hacked one that updates. But if you do be sure to let me know... ;]

when I try to run this, I get a syntax error at line 95 where it says "print text"

any ideas?
